Crane & Hoist Safety Program

Indiana University Office of Environmental Health and Safety has created a to inform employees of requirements of working safely around cranes, to address and comply the OSHA regulations and to ensure a safe working environment for employees dealing around cranes. This covers general operating information, operating and inspection procedures, crane inspection and maintenance checklist.

Types of Cranes Requiring Certified Crane Operators
